When men are asked which part of a woman’s face attracts them the most, the resounding answer is “eyes.” It is, hence, important that we take good care of our eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows. While creams and serums tempt you with promises, there are simple DIY techniques to ensure you dazzle with your eyes.
One problem are dark undereye circles. Often a result of stress, inadequate sleep or excessive computer use, dark circles make you look tired and aged. Eight hours of sleep, drinking enough water, and eating lots of fruits and vegetables are imperative. A great remedy for improving dark undereye circles is to combine the juice of a white potato and cucumber, and apply it with cotton pads. Relax for 15 minutes with this eye pad on and then wash your face.
Some of us are blessed with nice thick eyebrows and eyelashes which others envy. While eyelash extensions are often uncomfortable, a more natural method is the application of castor oil. When buying castor oil, ensure it is cold pressed. Use a clean mascara brush, dip it in the castor oil, and comb it generously over your lashes and eyebrows before going to bed. Wash your face the next day.
The thing with natural DIY techniques is that they are not overnight miracles; you will not notice a change in just three days. You have to be patient and consistent to see results.
And last but not the least, remember to remove your make-up before going to bed.
• Ensure you have enough sleep and a healthy diet
• Potato-cucumber juice good for undereye circles
