For those seeking to venture into the investment industry with the aim to handle investment analysis procedures while honing their management skills, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program is the ideal course to opt for.

The CFA program is a globally recognized graduate level curriculum giving one the required practical knowledge and experience to excel in the field of investment. A challenging certification course; every year, investment and financial enthusiasts appear for the exams, but only a chosen few are able to clear them in their first attempt. On completion, the successful candidate is awarded a CFA Charter and becomes a CFA charterholder.

The program is equivalent to a Master's Degree in Finance, and is recognized worldwide by employers and investment professionals. Its self-study format enables one to continue with work while studying towards earning the charter. The course can be completed by appearing for the exams divided into three levels. The first level takes place yearly in June and December. Once cleared, the next two levels can be done in December.

To enroll, a candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent), or be a final year student of an undergraduate program. He/she must have four years professional work experience or an overall four years experience which could be an amalgamation of professional or work-related experience.

The Pedagogue Management Training Center and the Canadian University of Dubai are among the few schools that offer the CFA course.
