If you are a project manager with experience and looking for professional development, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is crucial. The Project Management Institute’s (PMI) PMP certification is considered the most essential and widely recognized certification for project managers.

To gather 4,500 hours of experience, one may enroll in a formal course to become a PMP certified. PMI-certified training institutes in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah provide comprehensive training via prep classes as the course needs rigorous preparation. Regardless of one’s experience in project management, on an average, PMP students prepare 35 hours before they decide to either take the four-hour multiple choice test online or in any of the PMI-approved test centers.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to initiate a project, define the project scope, develop a schedule and cost performance baselines for a project, plan project quality staffing and communications, and conduct risk analysis, among others.

The primary benefit of being PMP certified is that you get a career boost and up to 10% salary increase.

To maintain your credential, you can earn professional development units (PDUs) by attending educational courses offered by PMI-certified registered education providers (REP).
