Coorgi Chicken

Chicken                                1 kg
Eggs, whisked                      2 pcs
Bread crumbs, as required   1 cup
Onion powder                      1 tbsp
Garlic powder                      1 tsp
White sesame seeds            1 tbsp
Black sesame seeds            1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying
Grind the following to a paste:
Button onions                   15 pcs
Garlic                               1 tbsp
Ginger                              1 tbsp
Red chilies                       6 pcs
Red chilies                       6 pcs
Anise seeds                    1 tsp
Vinegar                           1 tbsp
Turmeric powder            1 tsp
White sesame seeds       1 tsp

Method of Preparation: 

* Make gashes in the chicken pieces. 

* In a bowl, add the ground paste, salt and chicken. 

* Mix well and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. 

* Boil 2 cups of water and add the chicken. Cook until the chicken is done. Drain and keep aside. 

* In a plate, mix bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder and black/white sesame seeds. 

* Dip the chicken pieces in the egg and coat with breadcrumb mixture. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. 

Heat oil in a pan; then shallow fry the chicken pieces until golden brown. Serve hot with your favorite sauces.
